In 1977 my father (age 24) travelled to Itivnera, a small village of 7 reindeer herders in West Greenland. He lived there for 6 months studying a group of reindeer, that was set out by the Royal Greenland Trade Department in 1952, the year before he was born. This was all for the purpose of writing his thesis in biology.
This book is my visual representation of his memories. A sequence of images not connected in a linear storyline, but rather as fragments of atmospheres, situations and details held together by bits of my fathers letters.
